Counselling

We offer counselling sessions to support mental health and to provide therapy or training to clients. Each session is normally 50 minutes to 1 hour in length and the client is encouraged to engage with the clinician on a fortnightly or monthly basis as required. Clients can be referred by their GP under a Mental Health Care plan to receive rebates on each session, but this is not a requirement. We also accept NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed.

We can provide counselling for adults and children (12+) on the following clinical issues:

  • Anxiety (generalised, social, panic, phobias, OCD)

  • Depression

  • Emotional awareness and regulation

  • Stress, burnout, and anger

  • Social skills and relating to others

  • Friendship and relationship difficulties

  • Parenting concerns

  • Self-esteem and self-understanding

  • Adjustment and life transitions

  • Psychoeducation on neurodiversity

  • Avoidant-restrictive food intake

  • Trauma

  • Addictions

There are nine possible areas of endorsement.
